There is nothing wrong with the hinge. I was not able to use it. I found a hinge like what I needed but because the placement of the holes is not the exact as the original one from a house built in 1956, I can’t use the hinge. The company is great. It was hard to find something almost identical to what I needed. Unfortunately, the design change a tiny bit.

The replacement pivot hinges are good quality. Customer service and shipping were very good.
The hinges will need to modified as they are not completely identical to the fifty-eight year old medicine cabinet hinges currently in use and badly needing to be replaced.
Modification will consist of grinding off one protruding pointed part of the new hinges. I don’t consider this an issue because I was unable to find a similar pivot hinge at local retailers or other on-line.
I am glad I found the Hardware Tree site.
