DVCL-203168N.. Pair of Nickel Plated Trunk Handle Loops. Overall, loop is 3-1/4 inches long by 1-1/4 wide. Loop Tunnel which handles fit under is 1-1/4 wide by 3/8 inches thick. Width and Thickness of handles are the key to fitting loops to handle. Original trunk hardware was attached with trunk nails which were about 1/4 inch longer than the trunk walls thickness. Nails were bent over inside and covered with wall paper. This method was used to prevent hardware from being pulled loose during transport. Of course screws, rivets and screw post were also used.
