This unfinished leather chair seat is pressed using authentic turn-of-the-century bronze dies — the same dies, the same craft, the same result. The classic Daisy motif pressed into the center isn't a printed pattern; it's a genuine impression in 7/8 oz vegetable-tanned leather, the same grade used by saddlers and trunk makers for generations.

Because it arrives unfinished, you're in complete control of the final look. Apply pure Neatsfoot oil for a rich, warm antique patina that deepens over time. Or dye it to match your chair's existing finish exactly. No two restorations are alike — and neither will yours be.

Installation

Measure your chair opening carefully — the Daisy design should fit completely within the seat opening before trimming. Trim to size using multiple passes with a sharp razor blade for a clean edge. Secure using decorative upholstery tacks placed every 1 to 2 inches around the perimeter. Installation follows the same method as our traditional fiberboard seats.
