Finish your trunk handle installation with this antique brass trunk handle cap. The warm antiqued brass finish over steel provides period-correct styling that pairs beautifully with leather trunk handles and matching antique brass hardware sets.

Sold individually. You will need 2 caps per handle and 4 caps per trunk — order accordingly.

Installation Notes

• Leather handle should lay flat against the trunk; caps should snug the ends of the handle
• Slotted caps allow the handle to slide out slightly so your hand can grip it — this also prevents the handle from being torn off during transport
• Original trunk hardware was attached with trunk nails approximately 1/4" longer than the trunk wall thickness, bent over inside and covered with wallpaper — screws, rivets, and screw posts are also appropriate
