BM-6540RH... Right hand half mortise lock. Right hand drawer or door lock. Overall measuring 1-3/4″ wide x 1-7/8″ high with a selvedge to pin of 7/8″. Each lock includes one key. These steel half mortise locks are slightly deeper than the S-1827. A simple and straightforward designed lock that can be easily installed. These were also called “Machine” lock because they were made for insertion in mortises cut by machinery or routers. Widely used on furniture drawers since the later 1800s.
