Left-Hand Hoosier Cabinet Latch, Solid Brass, 3/8 Inch Offset - BM-1643PB

Left-Hand Solid Brass Hoosier Cabinet Latch

The BM-1643PB is a left-hand Hoosier cabinet latch in Boone style, made from solid brass. It has a 3/8-inch offset mount and comes with a matching catch and mounting hardware. This latch style is also used on Sellers, Napanee, Wilson, Hoosier, and other kitchen cabinets where the mounting arrangement and dimensions match.

For a cabinet restoration, compare the left-hand orientation, offset, and base measurements with your original hardware before ordering. Cabinet brand alone does not establish a fit.

Check Handing and Fit

This is the left-hand version. Compare its orientation with your existing latch and the product photo rather than selecting solely by the cabinet's name. Check that the latch and catch will meet correctly in your door and frame arrangement.

Measure the mounting offset and compare both base sizes with the available mounting surfaces. The latch-base dimensions and catch-base dimensions are different, and neither specifies the screw-hole spacing. Also allow for the latch's 7/8-inch projection when mounted.

Keeping these measurements together makes it easier to choose replacement hardware for a Boone-style or other compatible Hoosier kitchen cabinet without confusing the offset with the base width.
