F-516SKIU... Threaded steel insert nut. 5/16" x 18 Thread. Outside of Slotted barrel is 1/2" x 1/2" and can be driven in a hole manually or with a power driver! Install into a hole same diameter as the body of the nut. It is suggested to install 1/16" below the surface to increase strength. Using varnish as a lubricant is also suggested during insertion.
