TR-B2510P.. Greek Goddess Demeter Solid Brass Door Knocker, Ceres is her Roman name. She is the goddess of the Harvest. Above her and in her hair are pieces of fruit. Knocker surrounding her face are heads of wheat. Knocker is Victorian era in design circa 1890s. Blank area above face may be engraved or just left blank. Solid Brass. Finely detailed high quality door knocker, not found now days. This is a warehouse find of "Old-New Stock". Approximately 50-60 years old, so brass may show some tarnish and some patina. A very fine piece of door hardware in limited stock. 8 inches tall x 3-3/4 inches wide. Sold individually.
