Trunk Handle End Cap KD-TKH78S

K-TKH78S… Trunk handle end cap.  Thin stamped steel “Star Design” like the originals. Two are needed per handle. Overall: 2″ long x 2-1/4″ wide. Inside Dimensions: 1-3/8″ long x 1-1/8″ wide x 1/4″ deep. Nail handle to trunk “bent” leaving room for hand. Be sure nail in handle is near the straight edge of the cap, under the dimple. This will keep cap from being preyed up when handle is in use.

Cap is more a decorative feature as opposed to a functional feature. Nails hold the leather strap and cap is there to cover the nails. This can be used with a slotted or non slotted trunk handle. These look great just allowing them to rust slowly over time to give a patina look or you can paint them whatever color you desire. Sold individually so purchase two if you are doing one handle!
