BM-1545PL..Pair of Heavy Duty Extruded Polished Brass Butler Tray Table Hinge with rounded ends. This hinge is also often used for some keyboard tray drop downs. Leaf Spring locks hinge at 90 degrees and 180 degree. Sold in Pairs with screws. 2-7/8″” long x 1 1/2″ wide. Hinge is 3/32 inch thick near ends of hinge and is approximately 5/16 inch thick near the center. Thickness is not as important as the length and width. Replacements can be filled behind hinge or carved a bit deeper to accommodate thickness. Can be used on some drop front desk but not slant fronts. Beware of cheap imitations which are often not Solid Brass! Description should say “Solid Brass” no matter what the finish color.
