Antique Brass Trunk Handle Cap TKH-78AB

TKH-78AB… Antique brass trunk handle cap. Thin stamped steel “Star Design” like the originals. Overall measuring 2″ x 2-1/4″ with the inside dimensions being 1-3/8″ x 1-1/8″ wide x 1/4″ deep. Nail handle to trunk “bent” leaving room for hand. Be sure nail in handle is near the straight edge of the cap, under the dimple. This will keep cap from being preyed up when handle is in use. Cap is more a decorative feature as opposed to a functional supporting piece. Nails hold the leather strap and cap is there to cover the nails. Sold individually (two needed for one handle).
